2002 Reservations & Rates

August Camp Rates and Dates:

Campers can choose  Session I or Session II.   Session I will run from July 13 to July 27, 2002; Session II will run from July 27 to August 10, 2002. The cost is $975 for two weeks for AMC members and $1025 per two weeks for non-members. Campers are responsible for their own transportation and will be picked up at the Boise Airport by van.

Reservations and Dates:

While August Camp has no specific children’s program, children are welcome under the supervision of a responsible adult. Children can have an especially good time at camp if they are 10 years or older and avid outdoor enthusiasts. There is only one rate for persons attending camp. Campers will be charged for the full session for which they have registered, regardless of late arrival or early departure. A deposit of $300 per person is due with the application, which must be postmarked ON or AFTER April 1, 2002, to assure fairness in the selection process.  Please do not send applications by Registered, Certified or Return Receipt mail, or other means that require a signature upon receipt.  Directions to camp will be provided with camper information sheets and equipment lists, which will be sent out with the confirmation letter.

 To register for August Camp, please send:

  1. The camp application, including day and evening phone numbers, and dates you wish to attend.  
  2. (click here for a printable reservation form).  (Do not send in before April 1!)
  3. A self-addressed stamped business-size envelope with two first class stamps.
  4. A deposit check for $300 (see cancellation policy below) per person, payable to AMC August Camp. (Sorry, no credit cards.)
  5. Your application envelope, POSTMARKED ON or AFTER April 1, 2002, to:

The balance of all payments must be received on or before June 1, 2002.

Restrictions:

Two weeks only.   Full fee required regardless of late arrival or early departure.   Final payment of $675 ($725 non-member) is due June 1st.   

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations received by Registrar  on or before May 31, 2002:   $50 is forfeited.

Cancellations received by Registrar between June 1 and June 30, 2002:   $100 is forfeited.

Cancellation received by Registrar from July 1 to July 13:   50% of total charge will be forfeited.

No refunds provided after July 13.
